Ride a piece of history.
This 1986 (estimated) RIH Super Sport Race was build by the famed builder BASSO in the Veneto province, Northern Italy. It sports chromed fork, lugs and chainstay.
There is evidence that the entire bike was chromed prior to painting as revealed by some minor paint chips. The chrome remains in excellent condition, despite its age.
Measurements:
Seat Tube - 51cm (c-c)
Top Tube - 52 cm long (c-c)
Notable Features:
- BASSO pantographs on Fork, Seatstays
- finely crafted lug work typical of high end Italian frames of its time
- brazed on cable guides below bottom bracket
- beautifully shaped rear brake mount

Ole Skool Frame #4 : Tecnotrat Saronni
Amazing frame from the 80s.
Humbly built with Columbus Aelle in 26.8 diameter tubes, the frame is magnificently stiff yet comfortable. This was personally used by me for a few years. I got it off a guy who trained for competitions and migrated to carbon some years back and it was a sublime ride. The only reason it has been decommissioned was because its a tad too small for me.
I had it re-painted by The Rebound Centre using the highest quality Pearl White paint and decals-redone.
The Tecnotrat company in Italy has long been consolidated but this was made during the hey-days of Italian frame making and is truely a one-off-hard-to-find these days.
Size is 53.5cm c-c. Top tube is approximately 55cm c-c.
The bike gives a very 'racy' feeling due to its short chainstay. Handling is highly responsive. Could easily make it as a track bike!

Ole Skool Frame #3 : CiOCC San Cristobal
Beautiful and Legendary....the world champion frame from CiOCC : The San Cristobal
Columbus SL tubing using CiOCC pantographed lugs and internal rear brake routing. This frame is slightly used. Verdict from its user : highly comfortable yet very very responsive in sprints and climbs. No surprises why this was a competitive frame from the past.
Measurements are: Top tube 54 C-C, frame, fork and Campy Record headset and Campy BB included.

Ole Skool Frame #2 : Eddy Merckx Strada OS
A simple yet highly treasured EM frame with Eddy Merckx Signature!
Frame is lugged and built with Columbus Brain (Oversized) tubings. Its exceptionally light and bears all the ride quality and durability that steel offers.
Although the Seat Tube is slightly longer, do pay attention more to the Top Tube length which is more critical. Many people make the fundamental mistake of looking for a size based on Seat Tube length alone.

Top tube: 55,5 cm (center-center)
Head tube: 155mm Steerer tube Length: 200 mm
